It’s going to be a warm, encouraging evening of sharing about the ministry of Embracing Options that you don’t want to miss. Invite your friends and family and come out to be with us!

A 35 year old woman came in on the last day of July for a pregnancy test. She has 3 children and is going through a divorce but still trying to make her marriage work.

She has suffered a lot of tragedy and loss in her life. Her brother was murdered years ago. Her father was a drug dealer and was murdered. Her husband was shot in the head and survived. She herself had multiple abortions in her past. So much loss!

The upside of all this tragedy is that she knows the Lord and said she could not have gotten through all of this without him.

These kinds of stories may be shocking to us, but they are not unusual. Many of our clients have family members who were murdered. We need to be an oasis – a place where our clients can come for refreshing truth and love.

Embracing Options is hosting their Third Annual HARVEST FOR LIFE event at Brighton Presbyterian Church (1775 East Avenue in Rochester) on Friday, November 18 at 7:00 pm! This is a free event and all are welcome! Come and enjoy music and listen to a powerful client testimony while enjoying coffee and desserts. Guests will have an opportunity to learn more about Embracing Options and make a financial contribution. We’re all looking forward to another year of serving in His Name with your help! Day by day men and women find us, some just walking by in the neighborhood and seeing our sign, others by referral, and increasingly more and more through our website and social media. People are rethinking the choices they’ve been making and are looking for hope, encouragement, meaning, support, and even truth and guidance in their lives. We value your ongoing prayers and support as we enter 2016 with the expectation of meeting more hungry hearts in the days and months ahead.

Please join us in upholding the lives of the unborn on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday this month on January 17th and throughout the year. And if you’re looking for help or might even like to become a volunteer, just give us a call!

One of the most common reasons we hold back from doing the good we can is because we see the challenge before us as overwhelming and insurmountable. A good way to counter that is to break the big challenge down into smaller pieces and then take those one at a time – like one starfish at a time.  And to that one starfish, it can make a world of difference.
